Hang Out | Clothes Encounters
"Every article I put on my body, there is some thoughts to it. It evokes a mood.
That's when you know style is something you put as a priority in your life."

I used to question myself on the fact that I spend quite some time getting ready before heading out that door. The fact that I am willing to wake up an hour earlier and make sure I look presentable before facing the world seems to be a bit silly to some. I used to be so conscious about how people value how fashion is involved in my life. You may laugh at me for being so sensitive but till this day, I still don't think it was a pointless worry. I am pretty sure there're people out there are worrying about the same thing.
We are constantly struggling with people's judgements because we are all born vulnerably, and we grow thick through passing time. I learn that later in my life that I can actually be myself and people will find it appreciating. I was very used to receiving many "don'ts" from others and forgot what I really valued. That's when I started watching youtube videos. It was a whole new world to me because there are people out there just like me, who would spend time on their looks and really consider it as an self-expression.
How weird, to me, seeing her path of growing her foundation of success, including integrated video skills and gained confidence throughout theses years. I am by no means to make myself sounded like I know her very well but only to remind myself I am capable as well. That's what a role model is suppose to arise, right? :)
Yes, it was like a dream came true that I got to hang out with Jenn Im from Clothes Encounters. It was my first time meeting her and she is just as lovely as she is in her videos. Talking to her is just so inspiring. Her professional attitude and friendly kindness made this encounter purely a pleasure. Not to mention her gorgeous beauty.

If you like something, go for it."
